The first batch of build to order (BTO) housing development board (HDB) units  of 2150 will be launched in August 15 for the much-anticipated Bidadari estate. Bidadari will have capability to house 10000-12000 HDB units accordingly to Master Plan. Highest demand for HDB units will be the development which is just below Singapore‚Äôs maiden underground air-conditioned bus interchange which will be seamlessly connected.  Other pipelines include underground service reservoir,  preservation of its historic heritage, more greenery environment etc.   

Bidadari with its good location is only ten to fifteen minutes drive to central business district (CBD), very close to Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and also close to the NEX mall in Serangoon. Traffic situation has also much improved as roads have been widened since news on Bidadari development is announced in 2011. Popular and renowned schools are also nearby to support the property prices. In years to come with the ramping up of residential HDB units, we will be able to see more amenities, entertainment and leisure joints, life-style activities being planned for this new Bidadari Town.

Despite the poor sentiments due to total debt servicing ratio (TDSR) and additional buyer stamp duty (ABSD), Sims Urban Oasis and Botanique at Bartley, both new launch condo in first half of 2015 are still seeing good and promising sales from home buyers and investors looking for first mover advantage due to its proximity to Bidadari New Town. With the complete transformation of Bidadari taking form in coming years, property prices in the vicinity will definitely appreciate.
